A Year of Growth Through Corporate Stewardship

Each year, Southport continues to strengthen its commitment to
direct community impact through a robust corporate stewardship
program that reflects its core values.

Over the past year, these efforts have stood out for both their breadth
and measurable impact. Through sponsorships, volunteerism, and
meaningful participation in key local events, Southport has helped
foster stronger connections and collaboration across the region.
Southport is particularly recognized for its strong support of
education and professional development, demonstrated through a
range of scholarship programs that assist students in pursuing their
academic goals.

Corporate stewardship remains a cornerstone of Southport’s
mission, valued by stakeholders and community members alike.
These efforts not only deepen community connections, but also
contribute to building a vibrant, supportive region while helping
individuals achieve their goals.

During the 2025–2026 fiscal year, Southport reviewed more than
100 applications and contributed over $150,000 back into the
community.

This included approximately $14,000 in direct support for students
from Portage Collegiate Institute, Westpark School, Red River
College, and Assiniboine Community College.

In addition, more than $120,000 was invested in community
organizations, services, events, and facility use, supporting a wide
range of local initiatives.
