For many parents, child care availability can determine where they live
and work. Expanding the Portage Day Care Centre helps ensure that
families in the region have access to quality care close to home, something
that benefits local employers, strengthens the workforce, and supports
long-term community growth.

Portage Day Care is equally enthusiastic about growing its presence in the
community. “We are incredibly excited to grow our program at Southport,”
says Director Lisa Voth. “This expansion allows us to support more
families with safe, nurturing, and high-quality childcare while continuing
