Southport Bowl
The 5-pin, five lane bowling alley includes the added
options of electronic scoring, glow bowling and lane
bumpers. Not only is bowling an interactive, fun
activity for birthday parties and holiday windups, it
is also a great form of exercise. Depending on skill
level, a bowler can throw the ball up to 30 times in
a single game! Gripping the ball strengthens hand
muscles while the swinging action builds shoulder,
arm and chest muscles. During the wind-up and
release, both the upper and lower body are twisting
and lunging, causing muscles and ligaments to
stretch and strengthen. Bowling also helps to improve
balance as the lower body compensates for the ball’s
weight on the upper body. Overall, bowling is a great
collaboration of enjoyment and exercise for all ages
and abilities.

with friends and family whether you are organizing a
casual game of basketball, engaging in a competitive
game of bowling or pushing each other to a new
